Study

Two groups of men were put on a workout routine for 12 weeks, one group were given three servings of whey protein, 20 minutes before breakfast, immediately after workout, and 20 minutes before dinner. Other group was given 3 servings of placebo (fake protein).

After 12 weeks, group one, who received the real whey protein lost 8 pounds compared to 3.5 pounds of fat and maintained three times more muscle mass than group who took the placebo (fake protein).
