In last article, New Food for Your Muscles – Part 1, we covered Arctic Char, Quinoa, Bison (buffalo), and Hemp Oil. I have to say, these new choice of food taste great. It gives your taste buds a new experience so you don’t turn junk foods.

So, here are some more new muscle foods.

Instead of Peanut Butter try Almond Butter

There are a lot of people who love peanut butter but that shouldn’t stop you from trying almond butter. Study shows that almond butter has more of calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus, the three bone building minerals.

Instead of Chicken try Ostrich

Ostrich is like beef and chicken combined in one. Our feathered friend Ostrich, has red meat which it looks and tastes like steak but with one difference, it’s so much leaner.

Instead of Spinach try Kale

Kale, also known as “spinach on steroids”, has antioxidant, calcium, vitamins A, K, and C. Not to mention Phytochemicals, which are known for fighting cancer properties such as glucosinolates.

Instead of Tofu try Tempeh

Tempeh is basically fermented tofu that has all the amino acids, fiber, calcium, magnesium, and potassium. Tempeh also comes with hand full of good bacteria like those found in yogurt due to fermentation process which improves immunity, and helps to breakdown protein.
