More than seventy percent of the American population is overweight. Fifty million people attempt to lose weight every year. Most of the dieters failed. Majority of those who have lost significant weight regained the weight within a year.

What makes loosing weight so difficult?

The moment the body loses weight, it slows down metabolism. It also amplifies the appetite. This is the cause of the weight rebound. By nature, the human body is like that.
Venezuelan researchers confirmed that weight gain can be prevented by eating a large breakfast rich in proteins and carbohydrates. The other meals for the day will be low-carbohydrate and low-calorie servings.

This dietary strategy allowed people diet without the feeling of being starved. It gave the impression of being full even during lunch time. Those who pursued this pattern were able to manage their desire for food and lessen desire for sweets. A low-carbohydrate and low-calorie meal for the rest of the day would make people eat more fruits and vegetables.

The study reported that they have used this regimen effectively for more than fifteen years.
