H.I.I.T. is by far the most powerful fat burning method known to man, including any supplement or any steady cardio method.
What is H.I.I.T.?
H.I.I.T. stands for High Intensity Interval Training, which is the single best way to burn your belly fat, if not, second to intense weight lifting. Whether it’s the best or second to best, it’s the fastest way to burn off body fat that includes last few percents of body fat before your big competition.
Who’s it for?
H.I.I.T. is for anyone who doesn’t want that excess body fat. It doesn’t matter if you never stepped in to a gym or if you’re a professional body builder, H.I.I.T. will work. However, many bodybuilders have been avoiding H.I.I.T. thinking it will create a catabolic situation, which your body becomes so drained that it starts burning muscle. With the length of the session, it is not possible for H.I.I.T. to put your body in a catabolic state.
How does it work?
There are more than just burning calories. Instead of focusing on the amount of calories burned during exercise, H.I.I.T. is focusing on maximizing the body’s ability to excrete human growth hormone and testosterone, which melts the fat away. This can only be done under 30 seconds at very high intensity. Extending the length of the high intensity training to 45 seconds to 60 seconds will shift your body into a catabolic phase which will start burning muscle for energy instead of fat.
About H.I.I.T.
A single session of H.I.I.T. involves 20 to 30 seconds of full out sprints, alternating with two minutes of casual waking. Full out sprint should be 100 percent of your effort and done fast as possible. The casual waking is called recovery, done with casual effort, just like you’re waking to grocery store. The length of sprint and recovery time is not written in stone, which means depending on your fitness level, you can even do 15 seconds of sprints and do up to three minutes of recovery. The H.I.I.T. session should last you about 20 to 25 minutes and only two to three times a week.
