Every guy hitting the gym has once in their time worked their biceps to death, preventing you from brushing your teeth or even wash your face (Yes, soreness can affect your hygiene) all in effort to build those biceps. But not everyone knows there’s more to eye-catching arms than just hard training.
What are we talking about? We are talking about building your brachialis. Brachialis is the muscle that lies underneath your biceps. When this muscle gets larger, it pushes your biceps upward, giving you bigger, thicker arms without actually having to workout your biceps.
How to Work Your Brachialis
Working out your brachialis is not rocket science, it’s very easy, in fact you might already be working out your brachialis in your current workout routine thinking it’s just another bicep exercise. In order for you to attach those brachialis, all you have to do is change your grip from supinated to pronated (your palm facing down) to any of the bicep exercises.
According to MRI studies, the best exercise is the Incline Pronated(reverse grip) Dumbbell Curl. Lying back on an incline bench with your arms behind your body and your thumbs facing eachother or back of your hand facing front puts the brachialis in an elongated state for maximum activation of brachialis.
